With almost 30 years of wealth management experience with large financial firms, Steve brings a unique blend of relationship and analytical skills to the table. As the Senior Wealth and Portfolio Manager for Deer Creek Capital, Steve provides perspectives on estate planning, tax planning and implements the portfolio construction process.

Steve previously served as Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management managing investment portfolios for private wealth management clients with a variety of complex financial profiles. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Steve spent 20 years with SunTrust Wealth and Investment Management Group in numerous capacities including; Trust Officer, Portfolio Manager, Business Development Officer and Private Financial Advisor.

Steve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Appalachian State University, grew up in South Florida and moved to Flowery Branch in ‘94. Steve and his wife, Marie, have been married for 28 years and are now recent empty nesters living in Flowery Branch. In their spare time, Steve is an amateur genealogist and Marie, with Bentley at her side, provides therapeutic assistance to patients and staff at Northeast Georgia Hospital in Gainesville, Georgia.
